The IPhone 4 - A Risk Or Worth Buying?
The iPhone 4 is the latest Apple smart phone and has gained numerous upgrades from the phone before it, which is the iPhone 3G. Whether you have always bought Apple products, or you are struggling with the decision to purchase another brand, it is a smart move to become familiar with the products that the iPhone offers before you commit to buying a new phone and plan. In this article, we will examine some of the iPhone 4's characteristics.
The iPhone 4 has what is defined as a retina display. This screen is considered to have a high resolution with pixel density of 326 pixels for every inch. This density is not a far cry from that of the iPad. But then again, the iPhone's screen is a lot smaller than the iPad's screen.
This basically means that things such as phone numbers, pictures, web pages and movies will be very bright and crisp on your iPhone screen. Not only will this be much simpler on your eyes, but it will not be as cumbersome to navigate through the various menus and use the different apps that the iPhone 4 has.
The iPhone 4 gives you the chance to multi-task. This is something worth being said considering that there are so many things that you can do with this phone. When you double-click the Start button, you'll see how many applications are running. You then have the option to select the application you want to use and then reduce the others. The is the same concept that you would use for a computer. But now you can work the same way with your phone. For instance, you have the choice to run other apps while you utilize one app such as Skype to have online voice phone calls. Or, if you are driving with GPS, you can still utilize the other apps too. Multitasking is one of the most convenient features on the iPhone 4.
Quite naturally, you probably know by now that Verizon will now provide service for the iPhone. Previously, it was only the AT&T network, which many people considered to be one of the worst aspects of the iPhone. Starting as of February, 2011, you will be able to use the Verizon Wireless network with you iPhone.
If you are a current Verizon user, you will have the option of upgrading your phone. You may be able to get a trade-in discount, depending on what kind of phone and plan you currently have. Of course, if you not currently a Verizon customer, you can switch providers and begin service with the iPhone 4. Whether you choose to get an iPhone 4 relies on how much you like the things that it can offer you. If you desire to download music, content from iTunes, take photographs, shoot videos and play games, you will fall in love with iPhone 4. We have only been able to discuss a small amount of the features that it has. But if you're a light phone user and not interested in all the extras, you may find the iPhone 4 is more than you need.
