Amazon Kindle Updates?

M sister got the update on her kindle. It is called 3.3. But i got to mine to see if I can update kindle, but it doesn’t say there is an update. I am just wondering if anyone knows why she got it and not me. Also what does the new update do?

I heard (may or may not be true) that Amazon sends the updates in batches, and your “number” just hasn’t come up yet. You can download it manually anyway.
