It’s easy to add a link underneath your post that leads to related posts on your site and that can help you keep your readers around while offering them extra value. You can also create a follow up post to that particular post so that the reader gets to learn more about that particular topic. There are tons of ways through which you can create a stronger presence of your blog when you get such a traffic spike.
Readers often visit your “About Me” page to find out more about you. People like to learn about a blogger and his or her hobbies, interests, aspirations, approaches, etc. So creating an engaging ‘About Me’ page is really important if you want to grow your blog’s sticky rate by getting more and more people to subscribe. The goal is to give your readers a basic idea about you so don’t worry about writing a long page or an especially in depth page. The content of your blog needs to say a lot about the quality you offer but your “About Me” page is also a great place to sell yourself so don’t pass it up. All in all, building a successful blog is based on balancing your content with the right kinds of traffic. If you have a lot of regular readers visiting your blog, you won’t have to do a lot to find new sources of traffic. The readers and subscribers you’ve built up, because they like what you have to offer, will do that for you. Make sure that your primary focus is on creating a blog that is of high quality so that your stick rate increases and everything else just falls into place.
